Sometimes you only really appreciate what you used to have when you can no longer use it (temporarily). How much we have missed them, the little excursions, the city trips, the escapes from everyday life that have turned a weekend into a short vacation with the best relaxation factor!

Even happier we are now that they are finally possible again! Perhaps cross-border travel and the very distant countries will remain unreachable for a while longer – but why wander into the distance when the good is so close?

Look forward to discovering Freiburg ! It is also the scene of numerous historical best-selling novels such as the brand new Netflix series «Biohackers» and casts a spell over everyone with its colorful diversity. Children enjoy splashing around in the Bächle network, playing in the Dreisam river or observing both exotic and native animals in their spacious outdoor enclosures in the Mundenhof animal enclosure. The university town with its student life and leisure activities is an absolute magnet for young adults. It scores with its proximity to Switzerland, Lake Constance and France; with its sun-kissed, warm climate and its proximity to the legendary Black Forest. In every season, for every occasion, this city has something to offer; for lovers of art, culture, shopping and gastronomy as well as for the many sports enthusiasts who make the pilgrimage here for leisure activities. A true Mecca for mountain bikers, a paradise for leisurely hikers, a spider’s web of cycle paths in all directions, and everyone meets in the numerous restaurants to end their days full of experiences with fine Baden specialties and the excellent regional wines that go with them. Freiburg is the starting point for a wide variety of activities, for all ages and tastes.
